Police said the Weistar employee closed the company lot's gates when it became apparent that Jesse Rabago was going to flee without paying the $120 tow fee. As the employee closed the gates, police said Rabago accelerated and hit the gate. The employee had to jump onto the gate to avoid being hit, police said. The gates swung open with the employee holding on, and Rabago fled, police said He was later found at his residence and charged with second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
