Hello, this is Dustin from Madison, WI and I'm here to learn more about the industry. Specifically, I'm looking to learn more about the "junk cars" arena - where people sell their cars to tow companies/salvage yards in their area.

I'm curious about tow companies that work with websites like Junkmycar.com. Do towers buy leads from these sites? Does anyone have any experience w/ that?

Glad to be here and look forward to learning more about towing. Thanks!

What's going on Dustin

what are you trying to learn

i have dealt in junk since 2003 and have seen lead gerenation companies come and go

the quality of the lead needs to be streamlined JMC has a knack for bullshit and bad leads i.e call the lady they sold th car already or my favorite just plain wrong leads dover delaware instead of dover twp nj bad phone # good email address etc it's frustrating

there are good ones tobujt some of them price them selves right out of the market

Hey Libertytowing, thanks for the info.

Basically, I'm starting from ground zero. My plan is to go through JMC in the next few weeks/months until the site is getting a lot of traffic.

So I guess my questions is, how does the general process work? Would I try to contact local towers and see if they're interested in buying leads?

From there, how does delivery usually work? I guess most of my questions are related to how the technical process works.

If you're interested in talking in depth about it, I'd be willing to do what I can to help you with your own website/marketing efforts. I do SEO and content marketing professionally and would be glad to exchange services for your help and knowledge.

Thanks
